Mi Hacienda Mexican Restaurant in Decatur

Good stuff. Basic Mexican food but a little on the fancy side. I like a “nasty” Mexican restaurant and this was a little on the fru fru spectrum.

I had a great experience here. We walked in 15 minutes before closing. We were not turned away and were not rushed. Our food was tasty and the service was on point too. I applaude the staff that was here they could have easily turned us away but instead they gave us a 5 star experience. This was a night date and a late birthday dinner so I am so appreciative of their patience. I just wish I had taken pictures but it was a no device night

Everything was good. Good drinks and the service was prompt...definitely not a pricey restaurant but the portions and the quality of the food was great!

One of our regular spots in town. I have always gotten the same thing here(shredded chicken quesadilla with a side of rice) my BF always gets the mushroom quesadilla supreme. These are both awesome. We have had a few other things from here that were just meh. The atmosphere could use an update. We will always return here as our local favorite.

I used to get take out here all of the time- always the chicken/steak fajita. I ordered it this time-got it home and all of it was literally burnt . I specifically told them no sour cream....it had it and it was just awful. I drove all the way across town for their food and I will never do it again.

Really great food, very fast service and got everything exactly how we used it .. my entire party.. also, I was taken to eat lunch here by my friend who isn't from the states but hails from Vera Cruz? Mexico. He is a true native Mexican and it is one of his favorite places to eat for Mexican cuisine in the Decatur/ Huntsville area. The shrimp or chicken and rice with queso blanco and and fried pinto beans on the side were delicious. If they go back. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere, spacious dining area. Big drinks if into alcohol. No wait time.

Awesome food!

Best guacamole you will ever eat. I dont even like guacamole but I can eat a whole bowl by myself from Mi Hacienda. Their margaritas are great too.

Not imperessed at all. Been there 3 different times and have had issues with food every time. Bad gritty cheese in the quesadillas, bad shrimp and burned unbeatable meats.

This is my family's favorite Mexican restaurant. We eat here almost every Sunday after church. Food is consistently awesome.

I love the staff they are always kind, personable, and quick. The food is not my favorite. I have tried alot of different items from the menu and there are only two meals I can say was good. The service alone makes up for what they lack in some tastes. Sorry!

I love this place ..the fajitas are good, the #40 I call around the world but I belive it's a little bit of everything is my favorite. It's never full crowded except on Sunday's after church but it stays busy. The glasses are big. And the drinks are cold. The pico is hot.

Very good place to eat

Great authentic Mexican food, wonderful service, nice atmosphere, clean and well priced. Never gotten a bad meal from this restaurant, only had 1 incorrect to-go order, and after a very pleasant and apologetic phone call, I was given a free meal to be picked up at my convenience to make up for the mistake. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good food been going to this place a couple years now..

Waiter was very attentive, even though busy. All waitstaff helped each other. Good flavors without using hot sauce on everything.

My favorite Mexican American restaurant in town. Usually where my friends and I usually meet up. I would suggest the chicken quesadilla it’s to die for.

They have a couple of winning items, cold beer, and good chips n salsa. Service is generally good.

Their salsa tastes like Great Value spaghetti sauce

Today has made me never want to come back. Called 5 times to try to place a Togo while leaving a store on my way home and no answer so we go there to place an order and have a drink while we wait. We arrive to find it not busy whatsoever and we go to the bar and sit where I call just to see if the phone was working and of course it’s ringing and still nobody is going to answer it? Do you not want money? The hostess came and rudely tried to give us menus and when we said we needed a Togo order she rolled her eyes and walked away to go stand and not answer the phone obviously.

Awesome food, several one-of-a-kind specialties you won't find anywhere else, and great lunch menu. The El Diablo shrimp is awesome - if you can handle the heat 😜
